Book Gent — AI Book Generation & Reading App

A Flutter desktop app that generates full books from a subject and a reading profile — picks a tone, reading level, and pacing, then writes an outline first, followed by chapter-by-chapter generation. Content comes from either a cloud API with JSON-schema-enforced structured output, or a locally installed coding agent like Claude Code or Codex, switchable per book behind one provider interface. Includes a distraction-free reader with in-place AI text refinement, auto-generated comprehension quizzes, and a self-hosted backend for sharing books with a classroom or family group.
